Mum's 70th

Normally we have left Spain before mum's Birthday but this year as it was her 70th we left after the event.
On the Saturday night we went to a wonderful restaurant, "The Nuevo Alcazar".
We have been going to this restaurant for special occasions and as part of our holiday for the last 20 years.

This photos shows mum with her friend Patsy who flew in to help her celebrate.
 Mum studying the menu!

 Appetisers
 Stuart chose frogs legs!!!!
 Patsy, mussels au gratin
 Championes on toast for me.
 Scampi for mum.

I had a beautiful rack of lamb.

An impressive dessert for the Birthday girl.

Then on the Sunday we went to Thomas's Chiringuita in Coveta Fuma, a beautiful little Spanish restaurant that overlooks the bay.

 The view...

The sangria was soon gone!!!

We had to leave early as the wind got up and it was getting dangerous so we went to a new bar in the Square.

We took a leisurely stroll from the Beach Chiringuita to..a Bar called Infusions

Of course Patsy and I had to have a Mojito

So Mum had a fabulous Birthday weekend, and here's hoping for many more for her xxx
